Hypnotherapy refers to a variety of techniques that work with influencing the connections between your conscious and unconscious mind. The hypnotherapeutic techniques in and of themselves are relatively simple to learn and use. If you can relax, you can also enter into the state of mind where your conscious mind can take a break while our unconscious mind continues to pay attention and looks out for your best interests.
Your success depends on you. How you employ the tools the hypnotherapist brings will determine the outcome. How you employ the tools determines the long-term outcome. Working with a skilled and experienced practitioner will better ensure your success. It is also important for you to feel comfortable and to trust your practitioner. Feeling confident that the practitioner listens and understands your concerns will also help you feel at ease and will consequently effect the success of your treatment.*

No. No one has ever died as a result of engaging in hypnotherapy! Quite the contrary. You could feel good, encouraged or relaxed to name a few of the possible feelings. You could also feel a bit disoriented immediately after the session but this may last only a few minutes.
On the evening of your session you may feel a bit more tired than usual. This is because the unconscious mind needs down time to integrate the suggestions. Your unconscious mind serves a protective function. It will only allow you to be inlufenced by suggestions which are best for you.

of vegetables. I don't like vegetables so I never
ate them before! It has to be the hypnosis.

Now I know it works. I simply eat less. Somehow, something inside my head naturally makes it easy.
